Promoting Hate Based on Identity or Vulnerability

Marginalized or vulnerable groups include, but are not limited to, groups based on their actual and perceived race, age, colour, religion, national origin, ethnicity, immigration status, caste, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, pregnancy or disability.

4D HYPE prohibits Contributions that promotes hate or discrimination. 4D HYPE prohibits Contributions that promotes hate or discrimination based on identity, minorities, protected characteristics, protected or vulnerable groups and marginalized groups via threats, insults, harassment, bullying, threats of violence, incites of violence, abuse and hostility (in reference to all the aforementioned prohibitions, we also prohibit Contributions attempting, conspiring, encouraging, assisting, or aiding and abetting the commission and/or facilitation of these).

Here's a non-exhaustive list of some examples of Contributions that would violate these prohibitions:

• The use of threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour, or the display of written threatening, abusive or insulting material intending or likely to stir up racial hatred.
• The publication or distribution of threatening, abusive or insulting written material intending or likely to stir up racial hatred.
• Describing a racial minority as sub-human and inferior to the racial majority.
• Distributing, showing or playing threatening, abusive or insulting recordings of visual images or sounds intending or likely to stir up racial hatred.
• The use of threatening words or behaviour, or display of threatening written material intending to stir up religious hatred or hatred on the grounds of sexual orientation.
• The publication or distribution of threatening written material intending to stir up religious hatred or hatred on the grounds of sexual orientation.
• Distributing, showing or playing threatening, abusive or insulting recordings of visual sounds or images intending or likely to stir up religious hatred or hatred on the grounds of sexual orientation.
• That rape of women should be acceptable and not a crime.
• Racially or religiously aggravated harassment. This covers fear or provocation of violence, harassment and stalking, when they are racially or religiously aggravated.
• Mocking people with physical disabilities.

To submit a report directly from a Contributions page, click ‘Make report’, from the ‘Send report’ box select ‘This is abusive or harassing’ and then select ‘Hate’ from the available report types.
